Hello everyone,

I will share a little update about the upcoming **Workshop Update** , where is it, what’s changed during the development, how you will use the new D.O.T Editor etc…

## Changes about the level editor

In our [previous DevLog](https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/3357970/view/497225487832059435) we shared how the interface will be.

After giving it a lot of thought of how would we be implemented in the game. We will change the level editor to implement the LDtk Editor with a template of what our level will be.

Here’s a work in progress screen of our template.

 ![image](https://forum.v38armageddon.net/uploads/default/original/1X/b85775388f967ab26b4cbfee5ef47f73c618466a.png)

The export will be in a .json or .ldtk file, the D.O.T Editor that we will implementing will have an option to convert the JSON / LDtk file into a current level.

## The sacred text: Documentation

When D.O.T Editor will release, you will have a documentation of how to make a proper level, the conversion process and the publication on the Workshop.

These documentations will be available on Steam, on [docs.v38armageddon.net](http://docs.v38armageddon.net) and on YouTube.

## Okay that’s cool but when you will release the update?

We don’t want to announce a release date yet. The Editor is not ready, and we need to test that all of the code works correctly on every platform.

That’s all for today!
